2017 Barbera d'Alba "Vigna Francia" DOC, Giacomo Conterno  Prestigious Barbera d’Alba produced with grapes which come from the “Cascina Francia” vineyard, collocated in the district of Serralunga d’Alba: the grapes follow a traditional procedure. The colour of this Barbera is as the other, an intense ruby red one, while the smell reveals rich and complex perfumes with scents of dog rose, currant, cherry, blackberry, spices, tobacco and aromatic grass. Furthermore, it is a complex, balanced and elegant wine, while the taste is fresh and contains a correct minerality. This Barbera is perfect if drunk in combination with first typical courses of Piedmont, red meat, salami and seasoned cheeses.
